Network

Together with federal associations and institutions as well as nationwide relevant industry events, we want to strengthen the structures for music culture throughout Germany. Constant exchange with the various interest groups is essential for our work.

We work with regional partners, especially for our networking events. In this way, we want to strengthen the infrastructure for the music scene in regional parts of Germany and ensure that our funding opportunities are also recognised there.

The Initiative Musik participates in international networks such as the European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE), an association of 32 European music export offices, or as the official German representation at the EU programme ESNS Exchange.

In addition, the Initiative Musik organises activities such as showcases, networking events and presentations in collaboration with international industry events.

The Initiative Musik also organises pop culture themed trips for the Visitors Programme of the Federal Republic of Germany (Federal Foreign Office).

The Network Pop and Jazz Awards is a nationwide platform for all those who initiate, organise, support or promote music awards. The aim is to establish a better network for the diverse award landscape in Germany and to increase its impact.
